With the announcement of my father, Larry G. Taylor’s retirement just a few weeks ago, and my addition to the firm as the lead CPA, a quick re-introduction is probably in order.
If we didn’t get a chance to meet yet, my name is Philip Taylor and I’ll be leading the team in assisting clients with bookkeeping, accounting, and tax needs.
Like my Dad, I have a strong passion for helping small business owners grow and individuals move toward financial freedom and independence.

My background:
- Master of Professional Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University in 2001.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2004.
- Business Owner since 2010.
- Real Estate Investor (long-term rentals) since 2012.
My career has been a series of exciting opportunities, surprising twists, and growth. I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations such as KPMG, AT&T, and McAfee. I’ve also spent the last decade-plus developing several businesses (two creator-industry tradeshows and a financial education website), honing my skills in writing, business growth, marketing, and real estate.
On the personal front, I’m happily married (17 years) to my wonderful wife, Teresa. We’re proud parents of three kids, Kate (14), Audrey (12), and Drew (9). We have a dog named Smiles. We love to travel and have been to 35 of the 50 U.S. States together.
